Muffin Top Meltdown

My goal to lose: 20 Pounds

Amount lost this week: .4

Total amount lost: 8.6

Weeks to go: 13

Not the best... but not the worst. I didn't behave well over the 4 day weekend, eating so much yummy Thankgiving food. But I'm back on track for this week and ready to lose more!

Quotes:

“In fact, our worth in the world has always been tied to our looks… not the amazing miracle of mere existence.”

“Compulsive eating is a way we distance ourselves from the way things are when they are not how we want them to be.”

My goal to lose: 20 Pounds

Amount lost this week: .8
Total amount lost: 8.2

Weeks to go: 14

This week I did not eat well. Did better than I would have before WW’s… but I definitely ate more points in a week then I should have. So many good dinners out and wine called my name a couple times.
Portion control is key, and as I said, I’ve done better then before WW’s – but I still need to stick to healthy alternatives like fish, or salads not Fettuccine Alfredo, when going out to eat.

It’s only going to get harder with the holidays approaching, and we do not weigh in next week, so I really need to keep myself thinking about good eating habits to continue to lose and not gain

Ass Grabbers BEWARE!!

I am going to sue all the guys that grabbed my butt at a bar or touched me inappropriately when I walked by them. BUT… I am going to wait until they are attempting to be in a position of power so I can knock them off their high horse and ruin their life. I want to make them look bad for something that they did 10 years ago, in circumstances that I truly cannot recall, but when asked by the reporters what happened, I will be able to tell the public, verbatim, what was said and done.

I already have Gloria Allred lined up to stand by my side, while I flip my hair in front of the camera’s, talking about how he touched me inappropriately. My bottom lip will start to quiver from remembering how the events scared me for life, but at the same time I will probably have to hold back a giggle when I say genitals.

Muffin Top Meltdown

My goal to lose: 20 Pounds

Amount lost this week: 3.0

Total amount lost: 7.4

Weeks to go: 15

I have also started walking on both of my 15 minute breaks on the treadmill in the gym at work. It feels good to get away from my desk for a bit, especially since work is pretty stressful right now.
I love reduced fat Wheat Thins (16 crackers) and a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese as my morning snack. Altogether it’s only 4 points and is quite filling!

I haven’t tried making any new recipes but my mom did make the Buffalo Chicken Dip off of skinnytaste.com and it tasted like the full fat version. I couldn’t tell a difference. The hard part of that is just eating a portion of it… not the whole pan. It’s sooo yummy, it takes WILL POWER to stop. J

Tippy, Tippy, Tippy

Tippy.... my sisters dog has been living with me for a couple of months now. She is beautiful corgi/bordie collie mix. Sounds weird huh? Just picture a border collie with really short legs.

She drools.
She sheds like crazy.
She never sits still.
She likes to eat post it notes, dry wall, floor boards, tea bags....
She wants the bone that Rocky has, even if she has her own.
She wants to lay where Rocky lays, even if that means her solid body is practically on top of him.

Tippy never runs out of energy. I played fetch with her for awhile last night, took her and Rocky for a walk, left her out in the back yard for a hour or so and she still came in ready for attention and play time.

Rocky and I are exhausted just watching her.

She is harder to handle then Rocky, but she is very well behaved. She is smart, probably too smart, and really is the sweetest dog. She tries to snuggle up to me, but she's so heavy! When I pet her she is so content, but then I have to be petting Rocky at the same time. He gets a bit jealous.

As much as she can annoy me, she is just a big sweetheart with nothing but love for me - and I love her too.

I'll miss her when Sam takes her back.
I think Rocky will too....

Size: 1 1/4 cups Old Points: 3 pts Points+: 5 ptsCalories: 203.7 • Fat: 1.4 g • Carb: 33.3 g • Fiber: 10.0 g Protein: 16.9 g
· 1 onion, chopped
· 1 16-oz can black beans
· 1 16-oz can kidney beans
· 1 8-oz can tomato sauce
· 10 oz package frozen corn kernels
· 2 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes w/chilies
· 1 packet taco seasoning
· 1 tbsp cumin
· 1 tbsp chili powder
· 24 oz (3-4) boneless skinless chicken breasts
· chili peppers, chopped (optional)
· 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Combine beans, onion, chili peppers, corn, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder and taco seasoning in a slow cooker. Place chicken on top and cover. Cook on low for 10 hours or on high for 6 hours. Half hour before serving, remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in. Top with fresh cilantro. Also try it with low fat cheese and sour cream (extra points)
(I already had cooked some chicken and shredded it previously, so I threw everything in the crockpot on high for about 3 hours.)
